Our Remodeling Process: From Initiation to Completion

Here is what you can expect when you choose to work with us for your next home remodel project!

1. Project Initiation

We begin our remodeling process with a detailed consultation to understand your vision and needs. Then, we take care of all the things needed to get started, such as design plans, permitting, and scheduling subcontractors.

Initial Consultation

To start, either give us a call or complete our online contact form. We’ll follow up to discuss your project and understand your specific needs.

Walkthrough

The process begins with a consultation, during which we discuss the scope of work and do a thorough walkthrough of your space.

Materials and Design

After we get a better sense of what you’re looking for, we’ll help you select finishes and consult on design choices to ensure your vision is brought to life.

Permitting

Our team will handle all permitting and coordinate with the engineer to get approvals quickly and efficiently.

Scheduling

Once the permits are in place, you will be assigned a dedicated Project Manager to take the lead on your project. The Project Manager will schedule the project using Buildertrend, our project management software.

2. Project Execution

To ensure the success of your project, we focus on several crucial areas: quality control, communication, and budget management.

Quality Control

Your Project Manager will oversee the quality control for your project, conducting site visits at the start and end of each trade’s work. To maintain our high standards, any quality issues are promptly addressed with subcontractors.

Budgeting and Cost Management

During your projects’ execution, we go above and beyond to adhere to your budget and explore alternative options if a subcontractor’s price exceeds expectations. Any unexpected costs are discussed in our weekly meetings.

Communication & Reporting

Your project manager will keep you informed about the project’s progress and any next steps through phone calls and weekly email updates. Invoices are processed and sent to you for payment according to our agreed timeline.

3. Project Closeout

In the final stage of your project, we focus on completing any outstanding tasks to ensure every detail is perfectly in place.

Punch-List Walkthrough

We start the project close-out with a punch-list walkthrough to identify any remaining tasks and address outstanding invoices and final payments. A comprehensive punch list is created for trades to complete.

Scheduling Final Touches

We then schedule subcontractors and labor teams to address punch list tasks and finalize any remaining details.

Final Walkthrough

After the finishing touches are done, we do a final walkthrough to ensure all work meets our standards. A quality assurance form is completed, and our social media team schedules to capture photos of the finished project. We also kindly request a Google review to share your experience.
